#719430;\"><strong>How<br \/>\nit all<br \/>\nstarted &#8230;\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was her first child that made Pia D\u00f6gl think of creating the\u00a0<em>beginning well\u00a0<\/em>website.\u00a0While head of a children&#8217;s home\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\">(E<\/span><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\"><a style=\"color: #808080; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.emmi-pikler-haus.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mmi-Pikler-Haus<\/a>)<\/span>\u00a0<\/em>for neglected infants and young children she got to know Dr. Emmi Pikler&#8217;s profound approach in combination with Waldorf educational philosophy.\u00a0There she experienced the positive effects these educational approaches have on children.<\/p>\n<p>Pia\u00a0then faced\u00a0the challenge of how she could create an aware and mindful\u00a0family life together with her own child. She founded four kindergartens in various towns in Germany. After getting to know Emmi Pikler&#8217;s early childhood educational theories she included them as a valuable addition to her work with the children.<\/p>\n<p>She also holds seminars and further training courses and gives talks in Germany and other European countries. Her\u00a0book\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arbor-verlag.de\/buch\/entfaltungen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\"><em>Entfaltungen<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0(Developments) encouraged the reproduction and spread in the German-speaking countries of the balancing and climbing apparatus used by Hengstenberg and thus ensured that this work still benefits children.<\/p>\n<p>Her many years of work with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Emmi_Pikler\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\">Emmi Pikler<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and Anna Tardos and\u00a0writings from the Budapest\u00a0<em>Pikler Institute<\/em>\u00a0published in German resulted in her international work as a lecturer on early childhood education and in training Pikler educational theory.<\/p>\n<p>In 1996 Ute Strub gave the impulse for the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pikler-spielraum.de\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\"><em>SpielRaum-Bewegung<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0in many countries (for the English translation click <a href=\"http:\/\/translate.google.com\/translate?hl=en&amp;prev=\/search%3Fq%3Dpikler-verband%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den%26prmd%3Dimvns&amp;rurl=translate.google.co.uk&amp;sl=de&amp;twu=1&amp;u=http:\/\/www.pikler-spielraum.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #999999;\">here<\/span><\/a>). It offers an accompanied framework in which parents can experience the delight in discovery and activity of their babies\u00a0and small children.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006 Ute Strub was one of the co-founders of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.emmi-pikler-haus.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\"><em>Emmi Pikler<\/em> <em>Haus<\/em><\/span><\/a><em>,<\/em>\u00a0where she also worked for three years as a supervising tutor.<\/p>\n<p>In 2010 she opened <a href=\"http:\/\/spielraum-strandgut.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #808080;\"><em>Strandgut<\/em><\/span><\/a>\u00a0in Berlin-Sch\u00f6neberg where city children can play with sand and kitchen utensils in various rooms and roll around in straw.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">____________<\/span><br \/>\nThere follows a film interview with Ute Strub and Elke Maria Rischke on the theme of <em>Finding my own way of raising\u00a0my child<\/em>. We therefore consciously decided against charging for use of the site. We also do without advertising which we think is not appropriate to this context.
