Beginning Well seeks a Marketing and Fundraising Assistant

We are looking for a person who is passionate about empathetic child care and who would like to be a part of an organization that fosters and promotes this throughout the world.

We believe we can change the world by nurturing empathy in children, who will become the decision makers of the future.

This position is Temporary Part-Time, with the possibility of growing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Promoting and developing content from the page www.beginningwell.org, the book Beginning Well and the YouTube ChannelBuilding an audience and potential funding source with parents, educators, health professionals and other organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • An interest in early childhood care and raising awareness in how to be more empathetic from the very beginning
  • 2+ years marketing experience for non-profits: advertising, promotion, public relations, and customer relationship management
  • 2+ years fundraising experience: managing online crowd funding, writing individual grants and proposals, organizing donor events
  • Excellent communication, writing, presentation, networking and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in iWork: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, Constant Contact, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Word Press, Google Analytics and SEO
  • Telecommuting fine with occational meetings in person

COMPENSATION

Salary commensurate with experience: 8 hrs/week @ $25/hr for 6 months.
